These freeze well so when I make them just for us, I always package some up in snack baggies and keep them in the freezer to use for school lunch treats. I hope you enjoy them too. A nearby farm contracts their shearing and he had a few spare days until his next job out of state and so we booked him to do ours. We submitted fleece samples for testing to Yocom-McColl and were pleased with results from Summer. The shearer commented on her fleece being a very fine baby alpaca that would test well.

Recently, I met a friend for lunch. After lunch, we stumbled upon an adorable art gallery. The gallery had just opened. The artists were young and dripping with hope. They proudly walked my friend and I around their pottery studio, and I bought a berry bowl. Question and answer posts thrill me.

We did research on how traumatizing events such as neglect, abuse and natural disasters affects children immediatly and how it affects their futures. We also found information about children who have been through chronic painful medical procedures or serious illness. Child abuse and neglect is a serious and prevalent issue. In the United States, close to 1 million children are victims of child abuse and neglect.

Project Linus of Lower DelMarVa serves hospitals and other child related agencies in Accomac and Northhampton Counties VA, Somerset, Worcester and Wicomico Counties MD, and Sussex Co DE. We also deliver blankets to AI duPont in DE. We recruit our volunteers from the counties mentioned.
